At age 70+ I put down my novel writing pen and took up an old violin.

I’m an adult beginner violinist. Started back in May, 2019 with a great Suzuki teacher. But at some point, I wanted to break out of classical music and start playing fiddle music. I’ve been working mostly out of The Fiddler’s Fakebook. Jigs are my favorite! Now I alternate between Suzuki pieces and fiddling.

So much to learn. I’m never bored!
I love to hear from other late bloomers.

Leaving for my violin lesson in early March, 2020. Little did I know this would be my last lesson due to the corona virus lockdown.
